MR. PRESIDENT: KATY EVANS REVIEW

Hey guys!

I know it has been a while since I’ve posted anything, but today I have a super exciting, special new release to review and share with y’all! When I heard the synopsis for this one, I was so stinking excited, and lemme tell ya, I was most definitely not let down. Katy does such a fantastic job with this book, and I can’t wait to read more of her novels! I want to say a quick thank you to the kind soul who sent this to me in exchange for an honest, review as well!

He’s won the hearts of millions. But is he willing to lose his?

I met the president’s son when we were both young. Matthew Hamilton was handsome, polished, and intelligent. I’d never met a guy like him.

He promised me that he’d never run for president. I promised that if he did, I’d be by his side.

Three terms later, an invitation to join Matthew Hamilton’s campaign is the most exhilarating opportunity I’ve ever experienced. I’m determined to make a difference; he is determined to win.

Focused on his goal, Matt is steadfast, ruthless, and disarming. All eyes are on him and his popularity is surging. But soon, the next possible president of the United States is possessing me in more ways than one—and despite the risks, I’m helpless to resist.

We’re stealing touches, stealing moments, and stealing away at night. But our chemical connection is quickly becoming dangerously combustive, putting not only my heart, but Matt’s chance at the presidency on the line.

Winning will take everything. Walking away will be the hardest thing of all.

RATING: 4/5 STARS

Let me start off by saying that when I started this book, I really didn’t know what to expect. With everything going on in politics right now, I wasn’t sure how this book was going to sit with me, all I knew was that the synopsis was great and it sounded like something I would love. I was so glad that I didn’t let my original reservations hold me back though, because this book was fabulous. I’m talking I read this in one sitting, and was very sad when it was over, fabulous. The characters rocked my socks, I loved loved loved how honest and fantastic Matt was as a politician, and the entire storyline was just great.

Matt has a heart of gold, and everything he wants to do to further America along is so fantastic. It was so awesome to see how much Charlotte and Matt agreed on when it came to the best ways to live life and make a difference, and I loved how invested they were in each other’s livelihoods. I also thought it was a really interesting dynamic between the two of them just as a general whole, and I just could not get enough of them. Since this book does cover a presidential campaign, we got to sort of see a behind the scenes party of how all of it went together, and Katy totally did her research. It was so interesting and fun to hear about all of the effort that typically goes into a campaign, and it gave me an entirely new perspective.

Overall I just adored this book. I cannot wait for the next installment to come out in January, and until then, I’m going to be eagerly anticipating the return of two of my most favorite characters. I would definitely recommend this one if you’re a fan or romances, it is swoon worthy and fabulous, and such a fun read. If you’ve read this I would love to hear your thoughts, and we can totally discuss it in the comments below!!

Love,

Taylor
